Taylorsville lake conditions

I know taylorsville is now 5ft above Summer pool. Has anyone been there in the past couple days. How is water clarity and temp? Is the Crappie bite hot. Tryin to get some insight before I drive down there and waste my time. Thanks

I saw the lake yesterday and looked like a lot of floating logs and garbabe was all over the place and the water had some stain to it but not chocolate milk. Crappie fishing was hot before the cold front came in but as of right now i wouldn't waste the trip to fish it.

How has the bass fishing been this week in taylorsville? Thinking I might give it a go this weekend

Is the topwater bite still good down there?

I was there yesterday morning---shad spawning on deep rock banks--with bass holding out about 10 ft---threw spinnerbait to bank and shad chased sinnerbait to deeper water where bass where waiting--caught 2--one 2 lb and one 12 inch---i have never seen that amount of shad on the banks flopping around !
