guist creek lake
I will be in Louisville next couple days and was wondering if someone to give me some information on guist Creek Lake also would be interested if I could go out on the boat with someone to gain some knowledge on some large mouth bass fishing any help would be appreciated. I plan on going out tomorrow morning and possibly Friday morning as well depending on how fishing goes

Guist Creek
Mike, I would take you fishing but my truck's on the fritz and I need to attend to that this weekend. They do rent johnbooats with 6hp motors at the marina. There will probably be a lot of traffic this weekend. With the rain we've had, a lot of the lake will be murky. If you go left from the marina, and take the first right past the buoys you're headed toward the dam. There are a couple of coves on the left. The water will be somewhat clearer as you approach the dam. A Texas rigged worm is a good bait to use this time of year. There are some good bass in the lake, but it does get pounded pretty hard. Good luck!

Saugeye
Where did you read that they stocked Saugeye? I could not find it anywhere. Thanks!
Sorry! Wrong post. There is another one about Guist Creek and Saugeye. It would not let me delete.

Sauger
I am not really sure. They are a mix between a walleye and sauger. I would gather the same tactics would work. I have never fished for saugeye. I know they have them stocked in Ohio. If I confirm they are stocking them it gives me something new to figure out.
