Would like opinions on where everyone thinks is the "best" place to stay close to the dam marina for boats. Security vs. comfort vs. price vs. boat hook ups, etc... any help is appreciated. Be down late October early November. Thanks.

Poplar creek lodge is the best place for the money that is not on the lake (can be on Barkley with in 15 minutes). If you want to stay on the water Moors resort on KY lake, cabins and a lodge great restaurant and marina. Both have web sites, check them out.
After a certain date in either October or November the state parks here offer a reduced rate for their lodge rooms and cabins. You can look it up on the state park website. I know in mid November I usually stay at Ken Lake Lodge or at Barkley State Park Lodge.
Bel-air motel 1 mile from ky dam marina. $52 a night. Great parking clean rooms. Cloverleaf motel if u can get room #1. Price in the 30s. If not room 1 go somewhere else.
Berkley dam motel is where I stay every time I go down. Right at 50$ a night very easy on boat parking and plug ins for boats. The number is 270 362 4263
