Man it was tough on Nolin at least for us . WE went way up in the river ,almost to 3 fingers I caught only one 14" LM .Lost another but that was it .
Did anyone else have any better luck than us ....maybe we should have went to the big water

I was there over the weekend camping and skiing. I did a little fishing and had 2 nice bass on but lost them both. Other than that I couldn't tell you much other than that we saw people catching them
Fished around nolin estates for a few hours but nothing was really biting. Did however see a couple fish in the jumps around the big island. They didn't hold up very long and I never got any fish out of em though
I wonder if the algae bloom is messing them up. Anyone still seeing the effects.

I didn't notice it at all
Just spent the last couple days down at the lake and fishing was still pretty lousey. I did manage a few small largemouths in the afternoons. I went crappie fishing early in the mornings with 0 success even fished a couple of my structures I put out and still nothing. I never saw any of the algae my self but I wasn't really looking for it either.

Fished Nolin for the first time ever with a buddy that has family down there. Friday evening and Sat. mrning. Caught 25 bass between us both with a mix of largemouth and spots. Nothing wrong with the bite as far as Im concerened.both days it rained , so beat the bamks with spooks and zoom worms, both being effective. Had fun...nice lake.

Fished this past weekend. Caught plenty of fish, just not much quality. Topwater early and late on rock points and bigger worms off rock points in 15-20 feet. All near Canaloway.
