UK did not invent the question mark but UK did invent Basketball. Think your team may get past the Super 64 round this year? I hear the NCAA is adding another team of Blind people with no arms and no legs to play Louisville in the first round to insure they make it to the second round. Vegas has set the line as Pk because they are not sure if Louisville can beat this team

Nope.
Dr. James Naismith did that with his peach basket up in the northeast, in Massachusetts I believe. He later coached at Kansas for a while and one of his students, Adolph Rupp, brought the idea to Kentucky. So basically, Kentucky basketball was conceived by Kansas.

I can't wait for the basketball game this year. When Louisville wins smallnuts will suddenly say hr never cared about UK basketball but is an avid UK football follower.
Nothing better than serving up an ass kicking to the pussycats at their mediocre facilities. Then they can come back to our place next year and promptly return to Lexington with talks of expanding crapinwealth and corrupt arena. Only problem is that they don't have the cashflow and no one cares about Lexington besides the people who are unfortunate enough to be stuck there.

You will NEVER hear me say I am an avid UK football follower. As far as facilities go, maybe one day in the far far reaches of NEVERLAND you will have a team with enough fans outside of Louisville that you can play a home / neutral game in Rupp. As far as the Basketball game goes, how is that working put for you since Calipari came to town? If Kentucky is the Pussycats then Louisville is just plain pussy. You keep accepting mediocrity and some day maybe you will win a first round game in the NCAA TOURNEY. I hear they are making exceptions for next years tourney by bringing in a special team just to play you guys to give you a chance. Seems Division 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 teams are way too tough for the Fighting Cardinals from Louisville. Maybe their BLOWHARD fans can perform some special acts on the selection committee and get a by into round 2. This is the only way it will happen

Shoot, everyone wants to be in Louisville! Even Calipari! I think a bunch of UK legends even came to town. Are things so bad in Lexington that you have to leave town to have a good time? Did Redmon's close or something?

I ain't got no good educamacatioin like you boys from Louvil no got no shoes two wore two da schoolhouse.
Invented was a play on words. I guess I could have typed "Kentucky PERFECTED the game of Basketball" but then you would have wondered why I put Perfected when you put invented. You can't play Basketball and you don't understand Sarcasm, nobody cares about Football, did they teach you anything at Louisville? I know US News released their report of the best Universities in America, to which Louisville came in at 164 on the list, which as usual was 40 spots below UK. This is about right since you have the 41st best Basketball program in the country which is again 40 spots below UK. But surely at #164, they taught you something useful in life. I guess you knew how to breathe and go to the bathroom before your Freshman year, or maybe not, and that is what the Diploma on the wall is for, BSIBBS - Bachelors of Science in Breathing and Bathroom Skills

Louisville BEGGED him to bring a team to the YUM center. It seems their local team has forgotten how to play the game of Basketball and Mr. Naismith is DEAD so Calipari was their best choice to teach them. They wanted to see what a real coach with real players could actually do in the Kentucky Fried Chicken Center. Plus, they were so used to Calipari winning the games he coaches in the Taco Bell Enchilada Center that the fans could attend this time and knew their hometown boys NO WAY could lose this game. Plus the fact that there are not enough Louisville Legends alive to field a team of Current and Former NBA players that they called UK for help.
Keep them coming boys, I am the biggest smart AZZ on the site. My piece of paper on the wall with my BSEE degree does not have the heading "University of Louisville" so it is actually worth something and means I actually have a brain that works.

I went to UK and UofL to study engineering. In all honesty, UofL is miles ahead of UK.
