I remember a post that said that if Cam Newton threw for over 400 yards against the Packers someone would cheer for UofL and IU.
If it was not for the tax base out of Louisville the rest of the State would fold and everyone hates us. Lets keep our own tax money and lets see how everyone else does.

Read that post closely. I NEVER said what year I would cheer for them. I decided that the year after I die is the year I chose.

Why do you keep saying this? Do you have any proof? I have never heard anything of this sort and it would seem that if it were true it would be pretty common knowledge.

Ding ding ding! UK basketball wouldn't even exist if it weren't for the tax revenues generated by Louisville! :) Now, if only Louisville could get a casino and keep that money within the county....that would be awesome!

You can have all the money in the world and Louisville will still be the INFERIOR university in the State of Kentucky academically and the sport of BASKETBALL. How smart is Louisville? They supposively have all the money in Kentucky, they are city folk, educated and obviously have shoes but yet they keep getting beat by bug eating, bare footed, 2 room board shack living, no got no edumucation stupid hilljacks. Seems to me you would take some of that money and buy a Basketball team. Sorry by bad, you take your alloted Basketball money and pay for ABORTIONS instead. Tell Ricky P to keep it in his britches and stop "Sypher"ing money from the program for his personal issues.

We would love to keep the money but they won't let us. And as far as paying for a basketball team don't throw rocks. How does a coaches personal life get drug into this conversation? I know there has never been a UK coach in any kind of trouble.

I have no problem throwing rocks. Pitino's personal life is drug into it because it is a black eye on the University to condone him. It is not like he is hourly and can punch the clock and leave it all behind until the next day. He is the FACE of the Louisville Basketball program and as such, his acts reflect the University. What was brought into the conversation was not speculation, it was absoute facts that Pitino admitted to. As far as UK coaches getting into trouble, like that has not been drug into the conversations. Hell the current UK Basketball coach is accused of this and that when he was NEVER named in any NCAA investigation as participating or having knowledge of Camby and Rose breaking the rules at UMASS and Memphis. But, speculation is enough for some Louisville fans. ALL facts are fair game in Love, War and UK -Louisville Debates
