I guess, Elwood, you don't know nothing about the "Bus Driver?" Heyward "Red" Hutson was born on May 14, 1883 in Blacksville, S.C. Mr. Hutson moved to Orlando Florida and work as a Bus Driver. In 1918, Mr. Hutson started making pier baits, one he called the "Bus Driver" which he gave away on his bus routes. The following was found on a card with one of his lures which said... "The Bus Driver's Pal"... "You don't have to spit on it"... "Made by R.H. Hutson... "that Fishing Fool from Alligator Creek." Elwood, now you know the rest of the story!
