Thanks and yeah she was a fat one. We went back out today and my dad caught a 3 1/2. Then right before dark I had a 5+ up to the boat and my dad was to busy talking on the phone to grab the net and she threw the hook. We aren't getting numbers but we're on some quality fish right now.
I would have guessed 8lb just looking at pic. Way to go. I bet it slammed that spinner.

Rough can be at it's best in late fall or early spring. Not sure what happens to the big ones in between but they don't show up like they do right now and and early spring. I caught by second biggest bass at Rough in November many many years ago. It was 7 1/2 Only saw one boat on the water all day and it was the first day of Deer (gun) season too.
