Obamacare, it's bad, it's good. different folks for sure view it different. I read both good and bad things about it. I sure would like to see, everyone in this country be able to be treated by a Doctor, when they get sick. young or old, any color of skin or nationality, rich or poor. sickness pays a visit to us all, sooner or later. here is a link with some really good points for Obamacare.

If you're sick and have a job............Continue paying your taxes, but Don't EVEN try to get healthcare.
Pay your taxes, crawl into a corner and DIE..........
Now SHUT UP and get your sick ass back to work.........
Obamacare is designed not to work for the average working Jo.

I agree that more accessible healthcare and preventive care is a good thing, but it shouldn't ever be at the expense of others. To not provide adequate insurance so it results in denying sick people the proper doctors care or medicine which is needed in order to keep them alive feels evil to me. This is precisely what so many people had predicted would happen and were promised that it never would.
I do agree though that all those years when Bush was in office and healthcare prices were going through the roof it was becoming obvious to all that there was a looming crisis and something needed to be done. The republicans failure to do anything is also largely responsible for this mess because their inactivity paved the way for people to want to believe in anyone who was willing to promise a solution. They should have done more when they had the chance and maybe this country would never have voting in somebody like president Obama in the first place.

How about a little.......just a little TORT reform. We are sue happy. You could eliminate a significant cost to the delivery by lowering the costs.
Lawsuits cost the industry a ton of money. If there were limits to what you could recoup from a lawsuit, it would make a huge difference.
Malpractice Insurance also drives up costs.
Finally, Fraud and Abuse. Go after the fraud and abuse and put folks in JAIL.
Illegals..........Yet again, Cut them all off......period.
There are 4 republican ideas that are easy and immediate to implement. SIMPLE.
But it is still the republicans and Bush's fault.........

I agree with those any plenty of other things that should have been done. I just don't believe anyone can say that the republicans did a good job addressing the health care problems when they had the opportunity and as a result it benefited the democrats who once in office threw the baby out with the bath water.

And Clinton should have done something, and Bush 1 before him, and Reagan before him, and Carter and, and and, and.
I agree with the premise that it is BROKEN. And I really don't give two shits who is responsible for breaking it. Obama sure the hell didn't fix it.
How about someone work on fixing it.

Well I wasn't trying to convince you that you should care. My post was directed to Waterdog in response to his OP which drew the comparison of Bush so I addressed it in my answer to him.
We agree that it needs fixing.

We agree that it needs fixing.[/QUOTE] I wasn't really comparing Obama to Bush, in the link I posted at the top of the page, it had about 4 options, that the Republicans were looking at to replace Obamacare with, and they titled one of them Bushcare. and it offered a tax break in the amount of 15,000.00 for a family plan. thats why I titled the post Obamacare or Bushcare.
ps I to agree it needs fixing, and has for many many years. I don't care who finds the fix, just so it's found.
