I hope everyone keeps it civil and remembers that it is just a game and they are, for the most part, just kids. That being said "GO CATS"!!!
I am a KY fan, but I pull for UL when they are not playing UK. Shoot, I even had a shirt made that says in red on the front, "I am a Cards fan, you know it's true", and on the back in blue it says,"But if you cut me, I Bleed BLUE!!!"

Ill be leaving around 5 to head up to indy. already getting pumped for this epic battle. hell might even catch the end of the Tennessee and michingan game.

Good luck. From what I hear, you won't be in the stadium by tip-off if you leave at 5.

I think I'm still in shock. I really didn't see this one coming, especially after how dominant Louisville was in the first 10 minutes.
Kentucky vs Louisville is arguably the most heated rivalry in college basketball and so much trash gets talked between the fans, but let me say this...Russ Smith could play on my team anytime. I read somewhere this morning that he actually went to the UK locker room last night after the game to congratulate our kids on the win. That's a class move from a guy who gives 100% and had just played his last college game and lost. Listen to his post game interview, how he makes no excuses, the praise he gives UK, and his comments about how people ought to be loving each other instead of drinking the Hater-ade. I have much respect for Russ as he graduates and moves on...has been a fun player to watch, even if his jersey wasn't blue.

Quite an amazing young man. I wish him well in life....a young man with that outlook can do some great things for himself. Pitino sure did a good job with Russ Smith.
Man..... That first have had us worried uofl could do no wrong and basically controlled the ball game the entire way. With a few minutes left there was a lot of chatter among uk fans that this might be over. I won't lie I was one of em. Then Aaron Harrison hits the 3 and the stadium went nuts. It was rocking in there. That out of bounds call the refs reviewed was nerve racking. I was shaking.... **** near chewed off my finger nails lol. When Julius hit those free throws it felt like a fresh breathe of air. I've never been to such a crazy game and was so glad to be a part of it. I will tip my hat to the cards though the played a great game and would have won if they had hit free throws. It really ***** that uk and uofl had to play each other in the tournament again.... And makes me wonder why duke and Carolina don't ever have to meet up?
Did not get to watch much of it. We got a little busy in the hood with the shooting. Which helps you to remember its just a game. Hats off to KY.
