That is pretty strong............10/night is solid. Was this Dale? Are the fish looking healthier?

Early.
I don't care much for late afternoon because you are coming off the hottest part of the day and there are still boat wakes out there and I don't like wakes rocking my boat. Morning is the coolest part of the day and very few wakes, at least on the huge lake where I fish a lot.
I fish rainy days or fish nights like other said. It's amazing what a little rain can do to the boat traffic.
[QUOTE=sglass;535378]I know this is hard to believe but ive been killing them at Jacobson Park in Lexington. Best 5 in a 2 day span was pushing 13lbs and that's the busiest little hole ive ever fished. Ive been throwing to wood cover but not just a few flips but at least 20 casts to around the same spot. May not get a bite at all or you may get hit on the 20th flip. Once I get over knee surgery I am going to try this on other bodies of water as well and see if it works. In the past a few cast to a log and I would move on. Patience is the key.

Yeah we use to put a small jon boat in and fish the golf course side and catch some good ones! That was the time when they would have that fishing derby thing and section off a part of the lake that was stocked with Bass and Catfish. The weekend derby was a pure catch and take event but not all were caught so I would go back after the net was down and have a great time.

really? I was there sat night and the water was insanely low. I was just casually casting a super fluke for a couple hours and didn't get a nibble.
tough to see but the water is usually at the grass:
