Sen Luger (R) says going to war in Iraq mistake

I feel the same way about you and all those that are blinded by Fixed News Corp and their friends. How could anyone let some big fat guy from England control so much of what they think? I mean didn't we fight two wars to rid ourselves of British Control over the Colonies?

My point was that Richard Lugar is saying that he made a mistake based on false and untrue information give to the US Senate by the Bush administration. Heck Bush even made fun of the fact that he could find no weapons of mass destruction. And Chaney is probably still talking about Iraqi nukes riding on missile tips that can reach the Continental USA. If you don't remember him saying or implying that then you were asleep at the wheel.

If anyone thinks that going in and taking Saddam out of Iraq was a good thing then they must really like Iran. Because it the Iranians who are in control of the Iraqi Government now. Do you all remember when we backed Saddam in his war with Iran? Now we are backing Iran I guess. Iran the one Middle Eastern Country that is closest to getting Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction. Of course Pakistan being there already along with North Korea. I guess you all favor nuclear weapons being spread around the Middle East? And don't think that Saudi Arabia won't get Nukes from Pakistan if Iran goes nuclear.

Now after Iraq battled Iran to a standstill years back Iran is in control of the Present Iraqi government. And the Sunni Muslins that were Saddam's friends have taken over most all the Western and Northern Parts of Iraq. Civil war is going on there all because of what Bush did. While I agree that Saddam was a ruthless dictator I despise the Iranians even more. They are as radical as anyone out there and they were the ones who captured and displayed our American Diplomats for almost a year. I watched that unfold on the evening news daily for almost an entire year. They were blindfolded and keep in the dark almost the entire time. We should have declared war on Iran at the time and take them out of the picture. All Iraq ever did was shoot a French Missile at one of our destroyers in the Gulf and almost sink it. But they apologized for that mistake.

Now don't get me wrong here. I was all for Bush Sr. going into Kuwait and kicking the Iraqi's out of that country. But when Bush Sr. sent in US troops including US Military Women he upset Bin Laden and helped to turn Al Qaeda against the US. Before that Al Qaeda was Rumsfeld's friend and we gave them shoulder fired guided short range missile to use against the Russians in Afghanistan.

Iraq will end up being divided by ethnic area and religious beliefs just as President Clinton Proposed years ago. Or maybe it was President Carter. OBAMA GOT BIN LADEN !!!! Bush could not even find him let along capture or kill him. Although I guess he tried and failed many times. And that's giving him the benefit of the doubt. I figured Bin Laden was in Pakistan all along. He would have been fooling to stay in Afghanistan with all the American Troops there and the Drones. No he knew how to blend in with the Pakistani Civilian Population where he thought he would be safe from air attacks and our special forces. But he was wrong too.

As for the Illegal Immigrants sneaking across the Boarder what would you do to stop them? Don't answer that because you would probably send the marines down there and install machine gun nest and land mines and make that area look like the Berlin Wall. What message would that send to the World? Actually I would be for doing that. I personally don't like the fact that people sneak across our boarders but I'm not about to blame that on Obama. If the GOP controlled Congress wanted to do something about that they would not have gone on vacation right now. They would have worked harder to get some new funding passed to help the US Boarder Patrol do more to stop the flow of Illegals. BTW: Obama is shipping more of them back to where they can though LEGAL means than ever before in our History. So you can't blame him for them coming here. Blame Mexico as they let them travel though their country to get here. They are all coming mostly from South American and Central American Countries right now. They are not all Mexicans.

It's interesting how history is always being rewritten. I remember Hillary Clinton saying what a great idea it was to go into Iraq, along with a lot of the Dem leadership. I also remember Bill saying it had to be done and that the entire world agreed(not his or Hillary's actual words). I also remember how the Dem's demanded another vote in Congress just so they could be on the record being FOR it. Maybe I just don't remember right. It's Bushes fault. I will say that if we had left just a few of our military in Iraq there wouldn't be the turmoil we have now. Just a few soldiers would let everyone over there know that we had an interest in Peace and would do anything to preserve it. BO gave a different impression to those bad guys over there.
