Why in the world did Petrino play Bonnafon for a few series in the first half?
Maybe Bonnafon loaned him his girlfriend in exchange for some PT.

Come on man.....do you ever have a side order of fries with all that hate.
I do have NO IDEA why he put him in as at least Bolin was moving the ball and playing smart. Bonnafon panics way to much and forces things, quite frankly I don't think he is very smart.

LMAO...............
L needed a running game, hard to beat a good team without some balance. Despite the stats they did a good job against the run, but Chubb hurt them bad on some key plays. That Chubb is impressive (what my wife often says), no end zone twerking antics, and after the game gave the credit to his team mates. A freshman to keep an eye on.
Over all G just had a better team, the game was never really in doubt except for a short while after L got their second TD.

Good summary of the game. Louisville has some O-line issues to be solved for sure. The QB position should be fine. Bobby Petrino's offenses have always been much improved in his second year both at Louisville the first time and at Arkansas. Hopefully that trend continues next year. With the recruits that have committed and plus the transfers that practiced but couldn't play this year I expect Louisville to continue to be ranked in the top 25.
Btw, speaking of transfers, wait until you guys see strong safety Josh Harvey-Clemons. He is a beast!

Funny Tim. Any SEC team's logo on that t-shirt gets a laugh, but you just can't resist whacking on that cat cage with a stick can you?

I try not to, but it's awfully hard. LOL
Yes Jim that Chubb kid is outstanding and to think he is a freshmen blows my mind. Also conducts himself very well as you stated. Dyer really hurt his team mates by being a dumb a ss it seems Charlie was the only guy on planet earth that could make that kid act as he should. He has been trouble his whole life. Dominic Brown should have got some calls but he is in Bobby's dog house so there you go.
The future is quite bright and next year they are loaded at many positions. The QB roster next year is nuts and who brings it will get the job but I hope Bolin gets it that kid can play. He has the ability and the smarts to be a really good D1 QB.

Like him or hate him, long as Petrino is there, U of L will be in or near the top 25. Even good chances at the playoffs. Like most of us he's a flawed human being, but they guy is a very good college football coach.
Josh Harvey-Clemons is plainly not as good a name as Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Another reason for you to hate on the SEC...

IMO Bolin has the job right now, and I think he'll keep it. Generally speaking the QB that can best execute the coaches' game plan will play regardless of public opinion. That said, in college football freak athletic talent replaces QB smarts more and more these days. Jameis Winston comes to mind.
Going for the glory and throwing a deep pick when he has a guy wide open for a first down will earn a kid some quality pine time.

You know not all us boys in blue are that bad. I reckon both fan bases have their bad ones. Not going to lie I bashed the hell out of uofl when the BIG game was on. But afterwards I'll root for the red. As far as that bowl game went, I was a little dissapointed. Even worse for my parents as they hit the road and went to North Carolina to watch. Chubb was a monster like I figured he would be. Give bobby P a year or two and the cards will get back to where they were the last time he was in town. So much for watching the goveneors cup, Don't see those games being competitve much anymore. Hmmm maybe ol stoops can prove me wrong.
