There is a company in Ohio that nearly went bankrupt because they could not find tradesmen.
They went to the high school, PAID to create the program and guaranteed to hire 50% of all folks coming through the program with a 3.0 or greater in those classes.
Imagine being a 17 yr old kid and working part time, and making MORE than your folks. They are hiring high school seniors for 1/2 day at 18 bucks an hour.
