I know one thing.........don't use a REALLY good floro and get used to it, and then thing you can spool up with a cheep floro and thing you will get the same performance.
I had brand X forever. Then I switched to Brand Y which was much, much, much better........Well I needed some 12lb line for cranking and just figured I'd use Brand X, since I had a couple spools of it left. BAD news.
I spooled it up, backed stuff off and managed my reel so I could cast. Made a couple reasonable casts......and then whip.....BIRDS nest from hell. I had to cut all that crap off.............17 bucks dispatched right quickly.
Not all floro is created equally.
