Both are by far my 2 favorite reels. I love my Daiwa vinteo's and tierras for bass and even for top water Stripers at Lake Cumberland. Never had any issues with them. I love my Garcia 6500 C3's for river cat fishing and Striper fishing with live bait or trolling. I have never had a problem with either of these reels. I also use small size Daiwa spinning reels for crappie and catching bait fish. They are a lot better than the Shimonoe's that I used to use years back. You have to pay for good equipment to have good equipment. That's my story anyway.

Abu, cause Daiwa just feels too much to me like "da wee", and I don't ever want to be called that again, even by my fishging rod vendor.
