Orvis 9'6" 7wt sinking tip. I ll try and post a pick of the fly.
It was funny because I bought a whole bag of them in the Bargain Cave.
I should have bought more. It was like some ridiculous amount like 5 bucks
for fifty flys. Most of them are gone so I have started to tie some up.
Not quite as nice but they work. Last year I caught a Brown about 25 inches
up stream near Winfreys on it.
Sorry don't know why its upside down!?
Thats nice. I feel like I've seen those at Cabelas. The pink flash is a nice touch. Do you think these would be to heavy for a 5wt rod? I bought a 7wt and felt like I needed shoulder replacement after slinging it all day. I sent that back and bought a 9' 5 wt Orvis Recon rod.

5-7 wt
I have tied some smaller ones but prefer the large. Also use a Chartreuse over white Clouser
and those cast just fine on a 5 wt. Looking for a better pic of this fish but this is the biggest
trout to date that I have caught on the Cumberland.

So use the Chartreuse color tail versus the white? This is my biggest trout on the Cumberland. Caught her last fall on a streamer.

Fall Colors
Nice fall colors for sure! What streamer pattern was that on?
We were down two weeks ago and caught some nice fish at Trace's, Crocus and Marrowbone as well as other areas in-between. We fly fish mostly and were using pheasant tails, caddis emergers, zebra midge and white woolly buggers.
Lost a huge fish at Trace's on a 4 inch shad fly tied clouser style. We will be down again the 17th.
How did you do this weekend? I saw the guides were killing it again today from the dam to Helms.

It is hard to trust someone wearing a tweed coat and a bowtie while they fish.
