socialism is fine for many things.
Take it easy with the name calling ********......that is why everyone left this site to begin with.
Make your point, argue your point and then STFU.
With regards to social programs? The Military is outlined DIRECTLY in the constitution as a funded entity, required by our Constitutional Republic..............so I don't call that a social program.
So you are saying that the founding fathers said it was OK to have a socialist military and even put that into our constitution? Because that is just what you just said. So you see when you consider that we have not privatized the military then it must be a social program like the others. One that we have to have. So not all things about socialism is bad. What you don't like is Communism or dictatorships. Don't confuse those with socialism which we use here in the USA all the time.
Tell me what you think socialism means? Do you consider social security as socialism? What about the US Postal Service? What about the bus service run by the city?
When we all pay taxes to support a Government Program like the Postal Service then that to me is a social program. As I said the military is a social program that we all help to pay for.
US wants to deploy Patriot Missile Batteries to Iraq
Wah wah Wah. Obama blah blah blah Obama blah blah blah. All you do it complain about Obama. Get over it, Obama is gone and Trump was in charge when 50 of our service members suffered TRAMATIC BRAIN INJURY in the Iranian Ballistic Missile Attack on our troops in Iraq. Trump takes and fails to act or protect our troops over in Iraq. He allows Iran to damage our airfield and equipment and harm 50 of our service members and then does nothing about it. Cadet Bone Spurs was a Draft Dodger and is nothing more than a Big mouth with no actions.
It's about time! Now Iraq has voted to oust the US Troops from Iraq. But Trump is threatening sanctions on Iraq if they kick us out. We are so stupid. We send our young men and women to Iraq to fight a war and get rid of Saddam and now the Iranian's are running Iraq. Shite. Saddam was Sunni.
So we had over 50 US service members injured by the Iranian Ballistic Missile Attack on Al Sada Air base in Iraq. Now the Head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff is talking about putting Patriot Missile Batteries in Iraq to protect our troops. I personally think that is a good idea. I was for kicking Iraq out of Kuwait. I was not for the invasion of Iraq to take out Saddam for the very reason we find ourseves in now. Iran has taken over Iraq. Most of the people in Iraq are Shite Muslims and that is what Iran is. Saddam was Sunni Muslim. ISIS is Sunni Muslim. Iran and Iraq fought a war for over ten years which ended in a stalemate. Now Iran virtually controls Iraq. What good did it do to take out Iraq and Saddam an the Sunni's who controlled Iraq?
We were enemies of Iran since they invaded our embassy in Iran and took our diplomats hostage for over a year. We stil have to deal with Iran in the middle east. Israel is in danger of attack by Iran. So are others like Saudi Arabia, and others in and around the Persian Gulf. Russia and China are siding with Iran. Where do you think that Iran got the technology to build those Ballistic Missiles?
Since we spent so much time and money and blood invading Iraq we better consolidate our win there. While I didn't think we should have gone there in the first place I now think that we should stay there in order to keep Iran under control. That didn't work out too well with the Ballistic Missile Attack on our men at that airbase in Iraq. Putting Patriot Missiles in Iraq may help us protect our forces there. I still wonder why we didn't attack those ballistic missile launchers and take them out. Some one had to back down or else we would probably be at war with Iran right now. A war that I hope we could win.
