To answer your question, no, I don't think we should take care of the E. coli problem instead of worring about the shad. I think we should take take care of the E.coli problem AND worry about the shad. Both are serious problems.
That is why we have been working with lake area residents for over ten years now, to install a multi-million dollar sanitary sewer system that is scheduled to be in operation in the coming year.
