I agree!!!
I have always heard (falls of the ohio and ky dept. fish and wildlife) that Indiana and Kentucky have an agreement that on any side you can fish on the bank with either license. If you really want to be exact I do believe you can fish anywhere on the ohio river in any state with any license aslong as you dont go up in any creeks.

RE: River Help
this question comes up every once and a while. Last time i posted a link to the KDFW that explains the rule. I don't have time to look for it right now but it's just what bigrod said.
Enjoy, with either KY or IN license

RE: River Help
You can without a doubt stand on the Indiana banks and fish with a Ky fishing license, but DO NOT VENTURE UP IN THE CREEKS, the DNR guys watch for that. Had one tell me the mouth of a creek is o.k. just don't get to far back from the mouth and you'll be alright. Indiana guys have the same courtesy on Ky. banks.

RE: River Help
Man I found out the hard way that is not the case with all the
ID.DNR.Me and a buddy got a hefty ticket for just that but I made sure to keep the boat way out in the river and was casting at the mouth not up in it and I'll be george if an IN. game warden didn't come sneaking through the bushes"thick bushes"
and gave us a stinking ticket for fishing in IN.Boy did we take
a beating on that one.I hope I go buy that guy sometime while he's broke down or something.I sure would spit on him while I was going by.I don't think they like the fact that we own the river.I'v been hunting and fishing alot for 25 years and that's the only ticket I have ever got.
