Right now, it looks like all the calls we can get to Chairman Lindsey is what it needs.
Currently, the fate of this bill rests with the chair of the committee. In order for it to come up for a vote, he has to place it on the agenda.
We have also been told that he does not read e-mail, so phone is the only way to do it.
We need to get everyone we know to call, and everyone they know to call.

I called as a Non-resident fisherman and gave my support hope it helps. I can't begin to tell you how much my family and I enjoy fishing the waters of Kentucky.. A concerned Illinois Resident !!!!
Hey Billy...been catchin em all? The advice given here is the best way...contact reps and legislators. They are the only ones that can make it happen. We are closer than Wildlife officers but still need the same help....thanks for asking bro and dont be a stranger.

We need to watch SB 118 and see if it gets amended to include CO's as "police officers"
I don't know the how's and why's that this bill was put back into comittee, but it is probably our only chance to get added to KLEFP this session.
Thanks to everyone that has kept the phone lines to Frankfort hot.
I too enjoy hunting and fishing in kentucky. I have also noticed that liscense prices are rising and the places where I can put my boat in the water for free are becoming scarce. With the department policy of charge Kentucky's outdoorsmen and women more when they need it. I guess my question is if this don't pass does that mean that I will just have to pay more next year to make up for it.
