RE: Are You Float and Flying Again This Yr
I stopped float and flying about April, but since have just been flying. 1/32 or 1/48oz handties tightlined for both smallies and panfish in various streams throughout IN and KY. I'm ready to get back on the big pond down at Dale - I blanked last year but did have that new "world record" that broke me off - that proves I can at least trick them. This year I should be able to get one in the boat!

A buddy of mine uses a poppin plug or a storm plug with a 10 ft leader and a hair jig for stripers........Uses this on Barren.
This sounds similar.

I did a lot of Float and Flying this year on Kentucky Lake during the hot months of summer! Isn't that what you do when you've drank too much beer while swimming? :)

Ran into Bill Smith tonight in Backwaters. He's ready for Fly season also on Cumberland. Elnut, I'll need to drop you a line. Have something to ask of you.

I hope you are kidding....
Scott, right??
Listen man, I grew up on the river, and I've seen how alcohol and the water can be fun, but when "drank too much" it can be deadly.
You have repeatedly made reference to your drinking on the water... and drinking too much.
I hope you are just kidding. Though I can't say I've grwon to like your persona on here, or consider you a friend even, but could very easily, please don't set a wrong example out there, and don't get dead. The UL team would be out of luck without your stellar leadership.
Tight lines and God Bless
Danny

I've got my FnF rod and some bobbers Elnut made.(We float tested em in the sink) Allz I need is some flies, some time, and a little gas money. I tried FnF some last winter without any luck, plan to change that.
RE: I hope you are kidding....
Trust me Danny, I am very responsible. I don't drink all that much, but when I do I have a designated driver. Sure, I love to get wild and have fun, but I take all the precautions. Don't worry, I'm not gonna "get dead" anytime soon...I have WAY too many fish to catch! :)
