Sounds like Plapps has it all
Most people assume that a light boat cant ride good....obviously they havent been in a 21' Bullet, Considering the 21' Bullet is 21' 10".
Wanna ride in a 21' Bullet, Come to KY Lake...my passenger seat is open.
As for boats, look around and check them all out before you make a decision. Buy what makes you happy. Everyone has the best boat in their own mind. Just max out the HP if you can.
im 6'2"and i have been in a lot of different brand's of bass boats and the most comfortable one that stuck with me was the !!COBRA!!
as already said ride and fish out of as many as you can, dealers have demos that they can let you ride in.if possible arrange so you can fish out of it for a day,a 30 minute ride and walk around isn't adequate, todays hulls from probably mid 90's up are all built good, standards have gotten too high for junk boat companies to survive.Good luck and don't buy too fast.
Every major boat brand would be fine for a "Grown" adult. I don't think you can get a more spacious console than a Bass Cat, and I know you can't get a better ride. I have had a triton, stratos, and now a Bass Cat, and I honestly don't think I could ever own another brand. Look on Basscat.com on the owners section, then boats for sale. Good luck, just make sure you take whatever boat you want to buy to an upstanding shop to have it checked out before you buy it.
i'm 6'1'', 235 and I love my Stratos 285 xl pro, rides great and plenty of room. just got it a couple of months ago and wouldnt trade it.
