Good fish lowebow, Have you guys hunted at the fossil beds ?? I've seen a couple boats behind the upper dam gettin gar and big head. a buddy a mine got the bow record blue cat a couple years ago there....about a year ago they started posting no bow hunting signs at the museum ...you might check ,sometimes them DNR get frisky...lol Oh and by the way those bighead have found there way here.Lower dam last year 100's all3or 4 feet long schooled up in slackwater guys workin on the dam where all freakin.I was standen there knowing I could'nt snag so close to the dam.....They started hitting my1oz rooster tail........with there a$$ chuck get em!
I've shot up in the fossil bed area and have seen those signs. I have friends that shoot down there all the time, but I usually shoot down river more. I checked w/ Indiana DNR and my own CO's and noone seems to know who put those signs up as there is nothing in either state's laws to back them. I gave up bass tourneys about 15 years ago and started getting into bowfishing heavy. Now it's all I do. It's a blast for sure! If you like archery....and fishing...what's really not to love about it..LOL
