Re: Is your lake frozen?
Our BASS club held our annual ice fishing contest last weekend. The guys were needing extentions on their power augers to get through it. Some where over 4 feet of ice.
Anybody want to move to northern Wisconsin?

I think some of y'all's air blew in down here and froze my truck door shut this morning.
I was in St. Paul, Mn for a good part of the winter back in the early 80's. One thing I remember about it was having to have an extra big morning cup of coffee. Had to pour a lot of hot coffee on my renta-car's door lock just to get the key in. Did make a quick trip up to Wi, just to say I'd been, and it was a little airish up there too as I remember it.
Hope all you FnF guys are happy, this weather ain't fit for a dog to be out in.

Re: Is your lake frozen?
Some ice in backs of bays on Ky and Barkley. I have been to a couple marinas and everything open. Haven't been on the lakes but no ice problems I am sure.

Re: Is your lake frozen?
Me and the Lab went to Long Run park Saturday evening and walked way out on it. It looked to be frozen 4-6" thick, there was only one spot on the whole lake that wasnt frozen and man it had to have at least 1000 ducks and geese on it. Some spots that didnt have snow you could see the bottom of the lake thru the ice. I have heard of people ice fishing there but wasnt any holes drilled that I saw. Id say this frozen lake stuff is about all over with.
Looks like it's supposed to get above 50 on Tuesday, and stay above freezing through Thursday at least. I wonder if that lake will melt by then? If so, I might just go there instead of Guist. I've seen some nice crappie caught at Long Run.
It should only be another month or so before Miles Park gets its spring stocking of trout. Can't wait for that!
