Well Chub, I love the jig at the big C and at times it will be the bait of choice. My first three to four years fishing that lake, it was my safety net if all else fails. Now I have replaced it with other baits that seem to always work at least on a few. All this being said, I have had less and less success on the jig down there for the last couple of years. I don't know why, probably just me, but that's been my experience. Sorry to take so long to respond, was away from the puter for a stretch. But to answer your question, I guess it would be Barren or Barkely with the jig. I have also wore them out at some 100 acre and down lakes the last couple of years. I love that tick on the line.........

Second the Barkley. Give me a black/blue 3/8 oz. jig, little bit of stain, and some brush piles, Calgon take me awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
