Maintaining Lake Cumberlan Water Levels

the 20 days came from something I had read from beginning of rainfall until 680 level acheived on march 21.made myself look dumb LOL.

I know some of you are smart enough to figure this out, how many more feet of rope will it take to tie a house boat off to the the summerpool tree line if, the average house boat use's 4 seperate lines to reach the tree line.

I cant imagine too many of the house boaters willing to leave the dock too often in the next 7 years to overnight on the lake, some of you with more experience w/houseboats will know, just curious

I have to echo Jim's comments on promoting tourism to the area. I am not an engineer, but I have to believe if dangers were as imminent as the media sometimes makes them out to be, there would be more "drastic" measures being taken. Even though we laugh about the invasion of the "Ohio Navy" and sometimes fuss about the inconveniences it places on our fishing, we have to remember they are spending Ohio money in KY. New money is good for all. This forum can be a useful tool for getting the word out.

so 1200 feet @ $.75 a foot equals $900.00 a boat, times a 1000 boats equals :
