I had a similar problem a few years back, and it is a simple fix. You must go to the property evaluation administration office in your area and sign an affidavit stating that you sold said property with details and it will be removed from your records.
P.S. make sure you take any papers you have on your previous ownership and the sale if you have any.

Lee if you need someone to sell your house give me a call. I know that neighborhood better than anyone.
I have a 95 Stratos 201 pro with a 95 200 rude on it that I just bought in september. I got the renewal about 10 days ago and it siad $153 and change. I about had a freakin heart attack. It said my hull was valued at $1700 and my motor was valued at $9700...lol. I called the PVA and they said that Frankfort had gotten A LOT of boats wring last year and they checked it again and got it right. Now it's $53 to renew. My advice is to call the local PVA office.
