I could be wrong but, if you have a squeeze bulb you do not have a fuel pump. I would replace the fuel line and bulb and give it a try.

I don't about the pump but I had already put a new bulb on mine. From diagrams I have seen you pump the fuel in and the pump keeps pulling.

Like I said, i could be wrong. I guess there is a pump on the engine.
I had a similar problem and replaced the bulb and hoses. It fixed my problem. I hope you get it fixed. If you were near barren river, I could put you in touch with someone.
I haven't anything good about Kaylor's but who knows. Everyone has an opinion. I personally have never taken anything over there but this is the first problem I have had with my boat. I am hoping to hear something today about mine. It's been there over a week and I still haven't had a call from Lexington boats.
I have never had a problem with Kaylor's, actually I kinda like Don. However, liking someone & saying they do a good job are two totally different things. I have only had them do minor things to my boat, never anything major, but to this point, I would have to say I am pretty happy. I will say this, I sure do like having Kaylor's around, so I try to support him all I can. It's really handy to have a store like that close to home.
your fuel pump and vro is one unit and it is about $250.00 for the pump,or mine was and i put it on in 45 mins so they'll likely charge 2 hrs labor providing they find nothing else.everyone in the louisville vicinity wanted 375 up to 450 to do it.i shoulda atsyed in marine mechanic.
Jack Epperson In London, Has Done Excellent Work For Me, And Will Not Break Your Bank Account....his Number Is Unlisted But You Can Reach His Family At Easy Deal Motors 606-878-1365
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the primer bulb on mine. The check valve in it came apart and would block off my fuel flow.
I sure hope mine is something simple. I guess I am going to have to break down and get a good manual for that engine so maybe some of this stuff I could check myself.
Any word on your boat yet?
I know you have already taken your motor to a shop but in the event any of the rest of you all need any motor work done doesn't matter if it is on a boat motor or some other kind I used to fish a tournament with a guy from Versailles that basically if it runs on gasoline, diesel, keroseen, fuels this guys can fix it and he is cheap. He grew up having to repair everything they had so he got to be really good at repairing motors and getting them to run the way they are supposed to run. If you all what his # just shoot me an email and I will get you in touch with him.
Best of luck with your motor and I hope it doesn't break the bank because at gas prices now you may need the bank just so you can use the boat.
They were supposed to get to mine yesterday but I never recieved a call. Who knows? Have you heard anything yet?
It looks like they may have finally took mine in the shop. When I drove by the boat wasn't there so I am assuming it's getting looked at or stolen!!!
