Re: settle a crappie weight dispute at ky & barkley
I don't agree with you. KY Lake is one of the most fertile lakes anywhere and there are plenty of shad and other baitfish for the crappie to feed on. The crappie on KY will NOT overpopulate the lake and will NOT be stunted.
i agree
Re: settle a crappie weight dispute at ky & barkley
Well now he may be totally wrong on what he told me, but I tend to believe a guy who actually has been on the water collecting data, doing shockings, has seen things first hand, has studied the species for many years, and has a degree on the subject to back up his claims....but you know, we can all be like politicians and ignore what the smart guy says, since we know it all! Only time will tell as to whether or not the right decisions are being made....I just hope you guys are right!
Re: settle a crappie weight dispute at ky & barkley
My biggest at Ky was 17.5 and weight 2-13oz on three sets of scales? It was full of eggs. The lake has some nice ones in it.
I like those 10 in. that will not fit in a slide in mesure tray!(too fat)
