Falls of The Ohio, report..

Hey Doug/ onemorecast - Things got real busy with work and family this week, but I'm still real interested in meeting up with you to explore the river. Maybe in the next week or two - hopefully things will calm down some, enough at least to let me make it out to the river one evening.

*Also, I have my own Falls of the Ohio report to add. I haven't had much time in the evenings or weekends to fish a whole lot recently, so I met up with a buddy at lunch time today at the Interpretive Center overlooking the falls. There was a field trip going on, so we walked decently far downstream on the fossil beds until we found a deep channel. Only fished for about 25 minutes (and during the hottest, brightest part of the day), but we did see enough splashes from bait fish and bigger fish to make it interesting. I saw a lot of spots I'd like to come back and look at in the early morning or cool of the evening. So, for my first visit to the Falls I definitely saw enough good things to make me want to go back some time.
