Re: Gasoline Price Gouging
[QUOTE=Rowdy;295925]I got an email yesterday that made lots of scents, dont do business with the big 2 companies, Exon and B.P. Still buy your gas but stay away from them for one week, they will drop prices but dont give in,stay away for one more week ,Two week will get all there attention and $2.00 gas will flow.

Only thing that will bring down prices is lowering the demand. Fishermen who tow their gas guzzling boats, with their gas guzzling trucks to chase green fish around the lake, burn way more gas than the average consumer. We help keep the demand up, and the prices high, and are the 1st to gripe about gouging.
If we decided to not burn gas to go fishing for a few months, we would have cheaper prices at the pump.
Re: Gasoline Price Gouging
I have cut way back. I have only fished 5-7 times so far this year. In a normal year it would be 25-30 times. The more gas goes up the more I will cut back. I hate to leave the boat just sitting there but, I don't want to pay the $3.29 a gal. I don't see it getting any better time soon. Ryan
