Evolution of the jig and choosing colors.

I like the black/red and the pb&j, but this time of year I dont think big jigs are that effective. (That's just my experience) For example, yesterday my brother and I fished jigs quite a while with nothing, but then went to light line, 4 inch purple worms and 1/16 bullet sinkers and caught a limit. Bro had a real nice 5 lb bass on 6lb line with that little worm. Just seems when it gets hot like this, real light line and smaller presentation works much better.
