Re: Dodging Bullets on the Kentucky River
I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago on Woods Creek. We were in a cove and all of a sudden bullets started hitting the trees above us and bouncing off the water only feet from us. I could hear the bullets whizzing thru the air. We started yelling and I blew the whistle in the boat. A couple of punk kids were on the other side of the bank shooting but didn't see us. When I eased the boat out they took off running. Unfortunately they were never caught. It is stupidity such as this that get people killed for no reason.

Unfortunately Common Sense just isn't that common anymore.

Idiots with guns has really made me re-think my hunting during modern gun season as well. It's scary....
robert is correct, ive been to their shooting range. they fire into a hill. i would have raised heck until something was done to the morons firing into the water. i cant believe they blew it off like it was nothing. what someone had been running down the river at a fast pace and didnt have time to react? bad news there, glad you had time to figure out what was going on.
My sentiments exactly.......
