Fluorocarbon?

P line Floro Clear is the best of both worlds. Has great knot strength and is sensitive and casts great. Also it's coating stays on the line it has worked good for me at C land.

I would really like to know this too. I love the Seaguar regular floro for my casting reels. I am looking for a good Floro for my spinning reels. I just can't seem to find a floro that is soft enough for for lighter (1/8 oz. and under). It seems the stiffness of Floro really takes some out of the cast on lighter stuff.

I hear the Seaguar InvisX and the Berkley 100% are both good for this - but would really like to know for sure before I throw another 30 - 40 $$ into a couple of spools again.

I'm with you on this. I've tried P-Line and Vanish on my spinning reels, and both have way too much memory, even the lighter weight lines, plus Vanish is just too brittle. The Vanish I've disposed of, and the P-Line I'm saving for use on a baitcaster. I've spent a lot of money trying different lines, and so far my favorite line for UL spinning reels is 4# Berkley Sensation. I found it online at Fisherman's Factory Outlet for $2 a spool, and loaded up on it. They still have it, but it's now $3.88. Still a great deal, IMO. Berkley calls it a "multi-polymer" line. I'm not quite sure what they mean by that, but I think it's basically the same as a "copolymer." Whatever it is, I've found it to be very limp and sensitive, and it sinks like flluoro. They only have it in 4 lb. test, "photochromic" color. If that's not too light for you, I'd recommend you give it a try.
