That's great! Hey, I know Eddie they'll take just about any unused tackle they're offered, but is there one type of thing that's needed more than others?

RoadToad,
It does not matter, Fishing for Kids is looking for any outdoor items that can be donated because we do other things besides fishing classes(Camping • Canoeing • Fishing • Hiking). So to say if there is one type of thing we need more, I can not think of any one thing. We would appreciate anything that is outdoor related and get them into some kids hands that will put them to good use.
Thanks for your support
Eddie

The standard "tackle pack" eddie gives has 5-6 mixed soft plastics. At some events, where the parents are with the kids, he will give a small hook variety pack. At the events that are at schools, hooks can't be given out. As far a as rods and reels, There are two different ways to go... The combo kit spin- caster, these are given as door prizes, and as rewards in the casting competitions. It is best if these are new or like new. There is always a kid that has fished before that needs some better gear. If you can spare one of the rods that you would be satisfied fishing with, I am sure the kids would enjoy it.

Go to the Kentucky Tour part of the Board and look up Benefit Tour for Fishing For Kids. All info is on the thread along with sign up sheet.
Thanks Eddie

Wonder how things are going with the tour?
Fish every day you can for every day you don't fish is a day you can never fish again.
