PETA against fishing... what... they need to get a life....

I agree, you better care what peta is doing. Last year, my daughter who was a 6th grader was FORCED, yes forced by a teacher to write to either peta or greenpeace for a class project which she was graded on. She was FORCED to ask them what she could do to help. I am divorced and only found out a few weeks later about it when she started asking me questions about whether peta was telling the truth. I went totally nuts on the principal. They have no right to force that kind of political garbage on our kids. Believe me, the school is Eastside Middle in Mt Washington. I am still bent about it. By the way, I never received a call back from Mrs. Franklin, the Principle there.

forgot to add, my daughter loves to fish and is now into archery even though I don't hunt or shoot anymore. I am very proud of her.

Heard on the radio several years ago that PETA was running a campaign that stated Jesus was a vegetarian, when they were questioned about the Bible saying that Jesus was a fisherman there response was that you can't believe everything you read in the Bible!!! They really got slammed over that one, also they were in trouble at 1 time for killing some dogs that they had rescued, sounds to me like they don't know what they stand for!!!

What do you expect from radicals? Every single time I have watched a segment on T.V. or heard one on the radio they come off as half witted and ignorant about the facts. The radio segment was embarrassing for this young lady she had nothing but canned answers and could not think on her feet. The callers blew holes in her theory from every angle. It was great!:)
The segment was about the flyer that was passed around that showed how daddy and mommy would kill their pets if they were hunters or fisherman. I guess they have the right to be ignorant if they want, the sad thing is that some people buy into it.

Someone needs to inform Peta that the porcupine fish is hurting other fish and sometimes killing them when they are eaten...I think we all need to gang up on this mean fish and take them out...Thats just not right...lol...Oh and as far as there so called long memory, Why have I caught the same fish out of a pond twice in one day...on the same bait???

i love to hunt and fish and enjoy doing that almost as much as anything and i dont have kids yet but when i do i pray that no one ever tries to push peta Bull crap on my kids or make try and make them do a report over it because unless it is a negative one and him or her still gets a bad grade because it doesnt agree with the teachers opinion the crap will hit the fan... i dont think that teacher will no longer be employed at that school because for one its ok for a college professor to let u know their opinion on stuff and they respect it but at the age of elementary or middle school kids arent educated enough to really comprehend how dumb these people are. they dont understand habitat devistation because over grazing or fish kills because the eco system can no longer support them or the spread of a disease because of over population..... PETA really dont understand that we as fishermen and hunters well for the most part go to great links to preserve what remaining habitat we have left... if they really want to nag someone they need to go after the people in the everglades who are draining some of the swamp to make land for development... and wonder why aligators eat their pets... or the people who are clear cutting timber and moving mountains to make a road they these people devistate animals more by taking their habitat and making it smaller than us ethical fishermen and hunters who only take our allowed limit and most of the time turn the fish back but a person cant really do that hunting....

I guess I am actually doing PETA a favor. I will give each one of those bass I catch a good talking to, and inform them on the negative consequences of eating all those poor, defensless bait fish. In the true nature of the PETA way I will release them after my brief lecture. I hope they learn.

As for the crappies - they are just bad seeds, they will never learn, and therefore I will sentence them to death by hot oil.

Obama is quoted as saying "A Nation should be judged by how it treats the most lowly of its members and that includes animals."
With one Presidential Directive he could shut down all fishing and hunting on Federal Property. You had better care what PETA thinks they are big supporters of many of the Far Right Democrats who think that some should work and the rest should live off of them.
