I see Toyotas doing well just because that's how they do it....first class support to the race teams and with Gibbs involved nothing but the best is the goal.
I am counting on HMS to rise to the top but I don't think it will be easy this year.

This year we are fishing 2 renegade divisions,12 toal tournaments. And any thing we can fish in-between them.I didnt fish much last year due to back surgery.Looking forward to making that missed time up this year.Maybe we will see you on green sometime.Good luck with the boat, maybe its something minor.
Don't really follow it like alot of guy's but am trying. One of my employees races at the sportsdrome in Ind. So I try to keep up and what ever happened to Hank Parker jr.?? does he still race??
No I don't think he has for years. He had a ride with Crown Royal all ready to go but the word was his Christian beliefs made him turn down that sponsor (Just what I remember). I watched a Busch race (nationwide series now) years ago at Kentucky Speedway and we got to meet him and his dad...actually ate lunch with them which was very cool. They both seemed like good people even got them to sign my Bass car that he was driving. Wonder how much that's worth?? Ha ha I don't think I'll let that go...
I root for Stroker Ace...he was born to race...
:)
I was alright with the outcome of the 500. I wonder if Ryan gave Busch a great big kiss after he pushed him to the winner's circle? Cool finish.
I generally pull for Junior or Smoke...
i heard them say the yotas were as much as 30 horsepower stronger than some of the other cars and were a bove all the big 3.Now if the motor is that much stronger and the "plates" are off they will be hard to catch.I see some changes to tune them down if that stays the norm.30 hp is a bunch to try and make up with set up and driver to beat stewart and busch.
Not that big of a NASCAR fan, but I do like it. Went to Talladega once, and just watching the people was a blast.
My main problem with the Daytona race this year was cautions. 2 cautions with just a few laps left really took a lot away from the race to me. I think that if a NASCAR race has fewer than 10 or 15 laps left and someone wrecks, they ought to stop the race and restart there after the problem's cleared. The only sport I know of where the event can be over before its over (finish under caution).
Well, they supposedly "helped" that with the green-white-checker. But two laps on a plate track barely gives them time to get up to speed, much less be able to make a move to pass. Went to Dega once myself. That was an experience. I prefer Atlanta or Charlotte any day.

Ricky Bobby and the Magic Man could "shake and bake" past Stroker any day.....lol.
