America love it or leave it

I also served 6 years in the military. I am proud to be an american BUT I am not always proud of some of the things we do as Americans. I have always thought some of the shenanigens our politicians pull here in the USA are bad but these same folks and others as well go to a foreign country and represent themselves as an Americans . In the Army some of the things that are done are done with the attitude of who cares I don't live her and I'm going home shortly. Unforunately this is percieved as what all Americans are like. I suppose there are a lot of folks that feel the same toward Muslims as well when the majority are like the majority of us ,just working ,praying and minding our own business. When someone makes a broad comment like being ashamed of being an American usually they are venting and have little or no real reason to validate the comment other than 20 seconds of attention from whoever was standing around. my 2cents worth, **** I feel better already
