And that was two fish for 24 boats. I can say we never had a hit all day. Hardly any short fish at all either. 51 deg water and the wind blew toward the dam all day. But let the weather settle just a bit and it will be on. Also heard a rumor that 500 grass carp got released in the lake.
Wow maybe I spoke to soon,2 keepers for 24 boats now that no good at all, why can't they get this lake back in the swinge of things, looks like they need to put Shad back in it, when it was full of shad you good get some good numbers of fish anyway.
well i made it to beaver today but my son didnt come he was not feeling well so he stayed home and i took him to Mcneely around 6 this afternoon, i got skunked at both . not a bite at all at beaver. 99% mudddy water from the ramp all the way to the end. after it clears up it should be on fire IMO. so now i am confused i wittnessed two boats ideling with large motors bigger than 10hp. does anyone know if that is legal or are they just doing it??
Yeah I think once that mud calms down things will be right. Naw, those guy's using their big motors are asking for trouble. We had one next to us running his big motor but I figured he's a big boy let him get caught.
