Thanks to everyone for the advice. Dave, I will probably see you in the next few days.
One of my favorite things to do is, anchor up on a hot summer night and drop the green lights under the boat, and fill the cooler with crappie.. As far as the bass fishing goes, I have had the most success fishing weed lines with senkos rigged weightless. Anytime I fish at night, I use black, motoroil, need to use a dark colored bait.
I don't know much about night fishing for bass, but I have spent many nights fishing for stripers. The question I have is, why aren't crankbaits used more for night time smallies. My buddy caught two smallies in one night that would have gone over 5 lbs and both were caught on a white crankbait. I've caught 2 lbers on the same white crankbaits. Are these baits not considered consistent producers on smallies at night?
