WILLIAMS, STEPHEN JAMES, 59, of Okolona, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at the Baptist East Hospice Unit in LaGrange. He was a retired police officer, serving with the Lee County Sheriff's Office in Ft. Myers, FL, an Indiana Conservation Officer, for 15 years and was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Williams. He is survived by his mother, Eugenia Dolores Williams; his loving wife, the former Judy Holbrook; sons, Jason Edward Williams (Dayna) and Nathan Andrew Williams (Liz); a sister, Christine Williams Wallace; and two grandchildren, Benjamin O'Brien Williams and Megan Jayne Williams. A memorial service for Mr. Williams will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona. Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Saturday. Cremation was chosen. The family would like to give special thanks to Judy's family and the admission's staff at Sullivan University for their support during Stephen's illness.
