Re: new houseboat
According to the "Fishin.com Official Rules and Regulations", page 1 paragraph 1 sentence 1 clearly states (and I quote) If any member of Fishin.com who is named Chuck should purchase a houseboat during his trip to Green River, which was supposed to end on such Wednesday, but is extended to when the kids go back to school, is legally bound by such agreement that he is to grant any board member the right to use such houseboat at any time and any date with proper noticification. He is further bound to supply all gas, food, beverages (alcoholic and non), plus any other items of interest on such houseboat trips for ALL active board members.
Put me down for the weekend after next Chuck. It will be 5 of us, we don't need any alcoholic beverages but Pepsi and Mt. Dew will be fine, basic lake food will be ok as well. Make sure the houseboat is full of gas and we will be there around 5 on Thursday to deport, returning Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Thanks for purchasing the houseboat and thanks to the Fishin.com administration for the Official Rules and Regulations outlining the benefits of Chuck's houseboat for all of us. Who is next with your weekend request?
Just kidding Chuck, heck of a weekend getaway if you ask me.
You missed paragraph two that states that anyone who has known said owner of houseboat since owner was 7 or 8-years old gets first rights to the luxurious digs.
Chuck, I will work around your schedule LOL!

My appologies Tim, if you need the weekend that I have scheduled then I will happily defer to another time. I was so excited after reading paragraph 1 that I never read paragraph 2, and you are correct, it clearly does state that you have first rights. My appologies are extended. Now if we can just get Chuck to GET OFF THE BOAT and play nice and share with others.

That's okay elnut, I have lucked out as it is. My dad and his lady friend went to Rough and camped at Axtel earlier this summer and got the gig as camp host. We are going down there again in two weeks to visit the lake...er...I mean dad!
You can ignore paragraph 2 in my case lol!
My dad is very lucky, he is retired from Ford and spends winters in Florida working for a campground there and now it looks as though he will be spending summers at Rough. Yet, I still can't get him to sell me the house that I grew up in that sits empty most of the year!
