What ideas? They're on vacation for several weeks. Where can I find a decent job that gives me 5 straight weeks off?
I heard Obama this am saying he's for drilling more in Alaska. Wonder how many elite Hollywood liberals choked on their cafe au lattes when they heard that?
If Obama does get elected, I'll bet a dollar to a donut we'll be hearing most of those on the Obama bandwagon whining soon thereafter. The tune'll change after our taxes go up, and we start paying for social medicine in the form of yet more taxes. Think you're having a hard time affording a fishing trip now, put a borderline socialist in the whitehouse and see what happens.
Next time a terrorist blows up some Americans and President BO establishes a nice dialogue , or sends Jimmy Carter to chat with them instead of putting a good sound American thumping on some rag festooned heads, let's see what his current supporters have to say.
Heck BO will probably force Andrew to take several of those folks 'less fortunate' than him along to his favorite spot on the creek.
Moose will have to change his handle so no animals will be offended by his internet posts.
PL will be cast out as supporter unless he adopts a kinder tone and bridges the gap between him and the entire rest of the world. His guns will also be taken away by his heroes on the left.
Hey hold on a minute...maybe I'll vote BO after all.
I just read in the paper that 790 convicted felons, 14 of them are murders and rapists are going to be allowed to vote. What are we becoming? If you don't want to lose the right to vote don't commit a felony. Thanks Governor.
Man it is sad for sure. Don't you lose the right to own a firearm if your a convicted felon? But they can still vote?

You lose the right to vote, and the right to own firearms. The right to vote can be restored, and governors do this quite often. I don't have a problem with it usually, but I don't think it should be done for those whose crimes involved violence. The right to own firearms cannot be restored, even to nonviolent offenders. In general, I think we've got it right. All Beshear did was undo Ernie Fletcher's tampering with the system, and thereby bring Kentucky back in line with what most other states do.
Because most states do it does not make it right. If you want to vote don't commit a felony. That simple. KY is one of the few states that still follow this guide line. It takes a full pardon to get the right to be able to own a firearm. Wait until his last day in office and we'll see who gets pardoned.
Why should EVERY felon lose the right to vote forever?
If the law reads that way then it should be that way. My question would be why let them vote?

I agree with you 100%. This country is way to easy on it's criminals. I admire the job you do to keep me and mine safe. I know I couldn't do it, don't have the temperment for it. I'd be on adminstative leave in the first three weeks for shooting some crackhead, lol.
Thanks for the support MHall.
