This is true a lot of times. However, in some heavily pressured lakes/fish they'll just slap at it or play with it because they've seen it so much. This is when you got keep pestering them till they take it.

I always watch my line. I don't know how many times this year I've been turned around talking to a buddy and look back and my line is all over the place.

Hey man don't forget to fish the cut thru from the lake going to the river-around 1 am in the morning-use to fish it alot--um i know a guy that got his butt kicked by a big smallie-lol :)

Ditto.....sometimes I dont even feel the strike, or its very suttle.....I just see the line swimming left or right.....BAM!! Give that ******* a concussion...lol
