No one yet has mentioned my favorite. A spinnerbait. So versatile. So deadly. One can burn it, jig it, slow roll it, wake it on the top. That is hands down my favorite lure. A crankbait, rattlretrap, buzzbait, and a fluk are also tied on to use in my arsenal.
I did look up two spots above your post.
I see someone has mentioned a spinnerbait. Great minds think alike.
Topwaters early and late. Cranks, and occassionally on overcast days waking a spinnerbait.
You got it covered buddy.:)
Did anyone mention a T-10 ?? This is my favorite bass chasing shad lure
buzzbait, buzzbait, and another buzzbait tied on.
Big wormy you might try a buzzbait in the fall I read where they worked well.
If you get out there on the right day and in the right spot, it wont matter what you throw, fall definatly brings some of the best bass fishing of the year.
Try a weightless worm in the grass and also the Horny Toad. Have been having some luck on these. The evening bite seems to be best as the bass are chasing shad in the backs of the bays.
Bass Assasign, and a shallow running shad colored crankbait.
I forgot to mention my curly tail grub.
When its tuff,,,Ill go with a tube
