Defend her to the end for all I care but why start the "Now you see, how is that all Bush or the GOP's fault?" stuff when Palin is the one that basically said it was and no one else in this thread is trying to lay the blame anywhere.
If she had just said the economy or some other vague reply then that would have included all parties involved but she said "how did we run up a 10 trillion dollar debt in a Republican administration? How have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration?" which implies it was a "Republican administration" that caused these problems.
I will defend her since I believe what she said was right. You can Liberalize the answers to fit your agenda and the typical Liberal way of thinking but I ain't buying it. She gave a straight answer, big deal. The election is over and now she can talk thats what I like about her.
Let me give you an example of throwing someone under the bus....Barry defending himself and Rev Wright for months calling him his brother or cousin or spiritual leader or whatever and then when the heat was turned up he finally said he is breaking ties with him...more or less. (Uhh yeah I was in the hate church but never realized what he was saying uhh ok that's a great answer Barry). That's not answering the question in the first place (telling a lie), running but can't hide(caught in a lie) and then realizing that he messed up and he better distance himself from this bozo(pandering to the voters). That my friend is throwing someone under the bus. There are more examples but one is enough.:) Your turn.
I will defend her since I believe what she said was right.
So what your saying is she is correct about the Bush administration being the cause for the loss by allowing a 10 trillion dollar debt to be accumulaited and blunders with the war strategy, right?
Glad we agree on something or am I misinterpting your post because it seems like you write one thing but mean something else every other post.
Hey BPenrod, way to contibute to a post and by far the funniest stuff written on here is what a great President Bush was, is, is going to be in such and such years.........
PL & Pontooner, I still don't know why you guys keep bringing up the Trillion dollar debt that the Republican Administration made during the Bush Administration....
The cost to support a War / Wars for the last 5 years is a big factor in the amount of money spent during the Bush years in Office...The same thing would have happened in the Clinton years, if he had, had a set of gonads and went after the terrorists in the first place. But no he tucked his tail and ran.
Bill Clinton did not leave a surplus of funds when he left Office, so you have to take into account his deficit to the total amount as well.....
So get off the Bush slamming party and move on to see how your great Messiah handles the situation starting on Feb. 20, 2009.....

I read the original post and watched the video as you did. I'll say it again she was stating the truth, threw noone under the bus and the election is over. Remember what they said over and over during the election? They said that they will change what has been going on in Washington. The Dems said they would just be more of the same and people bought it. The Dems ran the best most expensive campaign ever! They raised the bar on what it takes to buy an election. That cost the GOP dearly.
So yes we agree the Republicans were in power during the last 8 years. Were we disagree is that the Dems and their party mantra of everyone being entitled to the same as the next guy were a major cause of the housing market crash. We all were warned of that for years and noone did anything including the GOP. See I have no problem admitting a mistake when I see one. I also stand by my statement that Palin threw noone under the bus (misleading title and a cheap shot)---see example of how Barry does it in another post.
Geo remember this my friend....
Never argue with an idiot....they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with their intellegence.
Sarah keeps it real. I would have a hard time with her as president for personal reasons, but she is fantastic! Her comments are right on and we lost the election when Romney was not voted in on the primary. I feel he would've faired better against our president elect.
Our president has done some very unpopular things in the name of keeping us safe. I don't have all the info he does and the TRUTH is never popular. With that being said, I've got to assume he did the best he could. There are many leaders in this country that I respect who think he's done a great job. He's made some really tough calls with little or 20% of the info and that's what a good leader has to do....right or wrong.
I would like to see less government and more privatization of just about everything. Government involvement leads to corruption. We can regulate right and wrong without choking out competition. All politicians need to think big picture and focus on less of them is better for us.
We live in the best country in the world because we are free and so is our marketplace. This means you have to work hard everyday and continue to reinvent yourself. If you are a custodian making $60k a year for The Big 3, better retrain yourself, because we live in a free market. There is someone willing to do it for minimum wage and the window for your opportunity is closed.
One last thought, I would like to see some of these politicians removed from office. If you aren't able to vote 95% of the time because your not there, your fired. They ought to be quized on the key legislation every quarter and if they don't score 80% or better, your fired. Get caught doing something detrimental to the team, your cut. I think you get the idea. Remember, they work for us. Don't forget that!
How about if the title was "Palin throws the Republican Administration under the bus" Would that make it any better? I saw the interview too, and I thought the same thing. How can it be interpreted any different other than she thinks the GOP did not win this election because of the poor job of the current republican administration. Crap would hit the fan if Obama credited his victory to the same thing - but when someone from your own party says negative things about Bush, it is acceptable.

How about Sarah Palin tells it like it is? Seems more appropriate without the left wing slant don't you think? To me someone throwing another under the bus is when they have been caught telling a lie so they grasp for a straw to protect themselves (Barry). Did she do that? NOPE!
If you guys ever watched O'reilly he said alot of truths about this administration that went against the party so did Beck, Hannity, Reagan and many other Independants and GOP members but who cares they were telling the truth. Don't remember people getting upset about that? Do you? Now your hung up on Sarah Palin telling the truth? Does she scare you guys that much?:) NEWS FLASH.....she lost!
The GOP lost their way plain and simple and now they see that they have to retool. Exactly like the Dems did after Kerry and Gore lost. We all know the GOP will get in again thats how it works. I personally wish that who ever it is that they work for us not the special interest goons that run the daggone gubment.
Like I said she didn't lie or mislead anyone she told the truth....remember what that is like all you Barry lovers? Maybe not, since his truth telling accidently got thrown under the bus with Jerimiah Wright and the church he attended for 20 years. Or was it when he did it to the slum lord? Maybe it was Bill Ayers? Aww, I can't keep up with it. :p
She didn't say anything about the bush administration that I haven't said on here before. The only difference is I get jumped all over, and everyone jumps to Bush's defense when I, PL, pontooner - or any of the other free thinkers make that statement. It is funny how the response is different when the same comments comes from someone representing your beloved GOP. Palin "speaks the truth." I guess since we have all made the same statements PL, Pontooner and Myself fall under that same category. WE SPEAK THE TRUTH.

Not so fast, thats a big jump from Palin to you three "free thinkers" (good one:p) speaking the truth. LOL!
I guess if we go back to the original post she ran for V.P. and when she lost had an interview...spoke the truth as we all know it. Pontooner tried to twist it into a Liberal Movement (BTW I have one in the morning and at night after Supper) but that's beside the point.:)
If you spoke the truth you would not be a Liberal. HA HA I needed that one! Thanks for the joke....:D:D

I thought you would enjoy that, I was laughing when I wrote it.
I'm glad you do Kevin, and I believe you....unless your claiming that politicians tell the truth. The Obama fiscal policy and economic doctrine is an insult to all americans except for the top 1%. If the top 1% gave up 100% of what they made it wouldn't solve our fiscal issues....and they probably could and still be fine. Bottomline, when you spend more than you have...there's a problem. It's going to take someone with a back bone of steel to right the ship. I don't think there's a DEM or REP that can do it. Too many outside influences.
It would take some tough love to ween people off entightlment programs or castrate the power of unions suckling/lobbying the political power tit or reduce defense spending in key areas that don't leave us vulnerable to attack.
