Just curious...you guys gonna have that ref from Ultimate Match Fishing there to oversee things?
That's new...there was that one green pole on the downstream side, up on the bank...used to tie my rig to that one when launching by myself.
Saturday sounds like it will be quite a show. I'd like to go ahead and pre-order my copy of the DVD. :D
Brian,
I think it's close to where I almost went swimming that one day...remember? I was on my back hanging on for dear life!:)

Oh yeah...I remember...you in a pile of mud on the front of my boat. (LOL!) Something about my boat brought that out in people. Billy about split his scrotum on my trolling motor doing a faceplant into the front of the boat from off a high bank at Fryman's.

I called Joe Thomas and he gave me that guys phone number and when I called it and asked the guy, he made it very clear that he had no dog in this fight and wanted no part. He also said there would be so much sewage flowing from the boat that he did not have earplugs big enough plus he said he did not want to hear my version of the "Baby Cub / Fattie / Man-Bear Pig" singing when it started after I landed my first fish.
I figure since the "Ref" turned me down I go ahead and set the rules for the day in advance and they are pretty simple: "My Boat My Rules" Rule #1 says I get to cast at any angle anytime and can cross Billy's line "IF" he ever hooks a fish which will be very difficult when I tell him that every cast he makes must be made directly out the back of the boat over the motor and his backswing can not come within 15 feet of me in any direction. Which pretty much says he can drop a line over the back and let it free line out the back without making any cast at all. Rule #2 says I get to change and make up any new rules at any time during the fishing trip. This will be the only way I have a shot at beating him at "His Creek Game". I will be trying to heave a 10' All Pro as far as I can cast it with a 12' leader and he will be deadlining his 7 and 8' rods kicking my behind. As far as the ice goes, I have no problem getting on plane and taking the old girl just as far into the frozen tundra that she will go just to get to the other side if it means landing a Brownie. Good Lord knows I have done Stupider things in life, thats right going at all is Stupider for me!!!!
Good luck this week huntin for smallies at Dale. Im sure you'll have a good time at Stoner this weekend..its a place you should fish again in the spring definately. I had planned on going to Frymans Sat or Sunday myself. Hopefully the ice will be gone and you can head up both sides of the fork. Looking forward to the stories and fish reports....
Well heck fire, we're gathering a few other boats it seems like., Splitshot, just show up down there and I guarantee one of the fellows will let you tag along. Just don't take them down to the 5lb location,...LOL!!!!
I deadlined for a little while last Fri, but it was in my usual F-n-F spots. I hadn't tried it yet in the places they were. I've got to break out the fly tying equipment and tie a few.
OH, I'll just sit in the back of the boat and watch......................NOT! The man whose watching aint catching.
Billy

You might just be sittin in the back of the boat and watchin and not catchin if that is the rule that I make, "My Boat My Rules". One thing is for sure, when you get a double digit lead on me you will absolutely not get any casting opportunities at all, the trolling motor will be put on a crawl and I will hit every spot coming and going and not leave you any water to fish at all. I am not used to taking a beating in the boat, for you do understand that I have fished with Hens most of the time and he likes to Net more than Catch for some reason. I have some real nice digital photo's of him in his "Netboy" shirt taken on Cedar Creek. Biggw saw it first hand that day as well as every other holiday fisherman on the water.

Weeelllll....guess who AINT got to work Saturday? Ole Splitshot don't. If there's an extra spot in somebody's boat I'd tag along for sure...of course, just getting to see Elnut get out there and get his fly wet given all he has been through would make for a good day in itself.

Splitshot you are more than welcome to fish with Billy and me. My boat fishes 3 very comfortably and actually Hens and I will be picking up 3Sons at Dale on thur and fri to fish with us. If you can't find a ride then you can join us just as long as you are not afraid of a Deep V Boat with somebody as ugly as Billy in it.
Heck I bet Gov. Beshear might have to call out the National Guard for a possible contamination spillage if the (3) of you guys all fish from the same boat. I bet the BS and hair splitting will commence once the boat hits the water....lol....Not to mention as soon as either one of the three of you lands the first fish...Lord help the other two who don't catch the first fish....But the worst thing could be the 3rd guy who is last to catch a fish...lol...lol...:D
I been in more BS baot sessions with my B-I-L over the course of the last 5 years that I think the EPA might have to start monitoring us on a weekly basis...lol
But you guys have a nice time and hopefully the cold and rain don't make your trip to bad.:)
Well Splitshot there you go....What about it Mr Dasher...??
