Easy Georgy, Easy, lol.
You tell em Geo.
They should clap Achmed's raggedy axe in the clink for a year on aggravated assault charges just to send a message. Change his (and his buddies') whole outlook on throwing things at the President of our country. Be it Bush, Obama or whoever the President of this country is, anyone who throws something at him should have his running lights extinguished.
My understanding is that it was an Iraqi press dude, right? What would have happened if it was in this country? Well never mind he would be a minority and we would feel sorry for him and he would get medical attention for his shoulder and suffering and so on and so on....
true that ! DJD
[quote=GeoFisher;348000]Juke nothin.........he should have pulled out a .357 smith and wesson and blew that SOB raghead away.......AND then told him to NOT bring a couple shoes to a FREAKIN gunfight.
That's what being a COWBOY is all about :).
Later,

Oh man, a concealed Derringer or something like an M60 MG opened up on his arse for sure...Blow'n him away in slow mo....Showing what a President of the USA is all about to the Terrorists of Foreign Countries....Oh Yeah baby.......:)

Doubtful. You mess with a president here and you are pretty much screwed. I don't care who the pres is, try a stunt like that and you should expect to pay dearly. In Iraq, don't know. I do know that the shoe throwing thing is one of their biggest put downs.
Andrew
I'm thinking that most places in America, that guy would have been on the floor with a gun to his head before he had time to throw the second shoe.

YUCK! Can you imagine?
I spent 7 days in the hot Texas Sun on field exercises without a shower while in the Military and I'm here to tell ya, things smell funny in that hot sweaty environment.:p Toe Jam and fumundacheese for days.
Whew, the longest I ever had to go without a shower was 9 days. Believe me my clothes could have stood up by themselves in a corner from all the funk on them..... I just plain stank to high heaven, but the best I could do was sacrifice some of my canteen water to try and brush my teeth......Being in the Infantry was one of the hardest times of my Military career, but I did like it in a weird sort of way........:D:D:D
