Ive never been a gamer, I think the last gaming consule I owned was a super nintendo. Anyhow, I was over at my brothers last night playing this came called Call of Duty on his Xbox 360 online. The game had a mature 18+ rating and VERY much deserved it, it was VERY gory (think D-day landing scene in saving Private Ryan for two hours straight). The way these ELEMENTARY aged kids talked and reacted while stalking and killing other "real" players online was down right creepy. Parents, watch what kind of games your kids are playing![/quote]

Man its not only guts and blood on these games. On many games the women are naked and or wearing see through clothing so you have to be careful with who is watching those games as well. One game (God of War) actually gave you more "orbs/energy for how many times you would make the women happy.:)

Yeah, graphics on todays consoles are unreal. The Call of Duty series is one of the funest to play out there. You get to choose from a plethora of guns and can customize them with different attatchments.

I have Xbox live and play Halo 3 every chance I get and your right about the amount of foul mouthed, obnoxious kids on there. These kids shouldn't even be playing these games offline unsupervised to begin with let alone on Xbox live.

I try to always play with a group of mature people I met online so this helps with not getting teamed up with the kids but when I do I always just mute them if their annoying.

Alright alright I stayed and earned too many orbs.:)

I'm not a video game person myself, but we did get a WII for Christmas. I only have the games that came with it, but it's pretty fun. I haven't tried the boxing yet, but the tennis, bowling and golf are pretty fun. I don't think baseball is all that great, though.

This takes place in a small fountain/pool right? I rember seeing a video of it but never played the game myself.

Hope you didn't stay in the fountain/pool to long because you know what will happen. :)


Of course the most vulgar series is the Grand Theft Auto set of games. What scary is it's always a best seller whenever a new one comes out. Any adult that would let a kid play that should be put behind bars for child abuse.

Actually, it's after you beat the three headed serpent. Then you wander into a room on the ship....bump bump bump:)

speaking of the Wii, we bought ourselves one for christmas and the Wii fit and the Wii fit will absoloutely wear ya out. helping me shed a few thats for sure. on another note i bought the sega bass fishing game and just landed a 16.9 LM an hour ago and having a blast playing it.
